7th HVN Water & Heat Amenity Safety Rules
Sauna • Pool • Hot Tub
1. AGE & SUPERVISION POLICY (Applies to All Amenities)
- No child under 12 permitted without direct adult supervision at all times.
- Sauna: No children under 12 allowed under any circumstances.
- Ages 12–17 must have a parent/guardian physically present.
- No lifeguard on duty. Use at your own risk.
- Parent/Guardian assumes full responsibility for minors.
2. GENERAL WATER SAFETY RULES
- No running, roughhousing, pushing, or diving.
- No glass containers in any amenity area.
- No intoxicated use of sauna, pool, or hot tub.
- No pets permitted in pool or hot tub.
- Shower before entering pool, hot tub, or sauna.
- Remove jewelry before sauna or hot tub use.
3. POOL RULES
- No diving (depth may vary).
- Children who cannot swim must wear U.S. Coast Guard–approved flotation devices.
- Do not tamper with pool equipment.
- Keep gates and safety barriers closed.
- Exit immediately during storms or lightning.
4. HOT TUB RULES
- Maximum soak time: 15–20 minutes.
- Recommended temperature: Not to exceed 104°F.
- Pregnant guests, individuals with heart conditions, high/low blood pressure, or medical conditions should consult a physician before use.
- Do not submerge head.
- Keep cover closed when not in use.
- Exit immediately if dizzy, nauseous, or overheated.
5. SAUNA RULES
- No children under 12 permitted.
- Sit on a full towel at all times (no direct skin on wood).
- Adult sessions limited to 10–20 minutes.
- Minors (12–17) limited to 5–10 minutes on lower bench only.
- Hydrate before and after use.
- Do not tamper with heater or controls.
- No sleeping inside sauna.
6. HEALTH WARNING
Do NOT use sauna or hot tub if:
- Pregnant
- Under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Dehydrated, ill, or fasting
- Diagnosed with cardiovascular or neurological conditions
Rapid temperature changes (sauna to cold plunge/pool) increase cardiac stress. Cool down gradually.
7. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Use of the sauna, pool, and hot tub involves inherent risks including drowning, burns, dehydration, fainting, slips and falls, cardiac events, serious injury, or death.
By using these amenities, guests voluntarily assume all risks for themselves and their party.
Primary Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Property Owner and affiliates from claims arising from amenity use except in cases of gross negligence.
